Re: How to help the woman in your life have a good riding experience.

One of the things we do at ROAR is pick-up some of the bikes we customize at auctions. Many of them tell their story without their owners. They have less than five hundred miles on them and one good size dent in the gas tank. We know, more than likely, it was a woman owned bike. One that she wasn’t fully able to handle, dropped it, got scared of it and then sold it. That’s expensive! And if there’s injury involved, it’s even more expensive. It’s also a dream killer, the dreams of you and her enjoying the ride together.

At ROAR, our job is to make sure that doesn’t happen. I can’t tell you how good it feels every time we either customize a bike or sell a bike to a woman who is excited because she is able to handle her bike. I often hear comments like,

“Before it felt like the bike was in control, now I feel like I’m in control.”

“I was just getting ready to give up and quit riding, but now I’m excited again.”

“Before the bike handled me, now I feel like I handle it.”

“Before I always had to be thinking about every uneven surface, now I can relax and enjoy myself.”

“I’m no longer afraid to move my bike around, I love it on the road, but always hated those moments when I had to stop and actually move it myself.”

What I hate to hear is,

“I wish I would have found you guys before I sold my bike.”

“ I just dropped it one to many times and now it’s sitting in the garage..”

I always tell our team, “We specialize in women – motorcycles come second.” So I encourage you to let us help you help the woman in your life either purchase a bike that’s perfect for her or help her customize the one she has. Keep her safe, keep her comfortable, give her a beautiful bike, and you’ll have a happy woman.
